PROcrastination Playlist.

I’m trying to write an essay, but instead I have been playing a lot of icy tower. I also made this procrastination playlist. I’d like to dedicate it to the irrepressible cutehead Grace Louey, in the hope that it will help her study. :)

Melboring. Winter, always winter, but never Christmas. I’ve been home for nearly a month now and this business of triple winter has really been getting me down. This is what I’ve been listening to. I’d like to dedicate this playlist to my lovely friend Madeleine Russell who has just departed for Montreal. I wish her sunshine and an excellent adventure. I eagerly anticipate her return to this dreariest of cities. BYE MADDY!! xxx

On the 1st of June Belgium matched the record for time taken to form a new democratic government after an election, 353 days. Maybe we should kill all the Belgians and put Danny Wind in charge.

I watched a movie called Hanna and it made me think of my lovely friend HANNAH. For whom I made this playlist. xxx

I live above a bakery and before I go to bed there is nothing I like better than the smell of my baking breakfast wafting up the stairs. But on those mornings when I can’t handle the trek downstairs (AND back up again, ugh), I am grateful for these little culinary miracles. Croissants in a can. POF! Amazing. JR

Danny Wind wrote a pretty great book, “Let’s Kill All The Belgians: A Child’s Guide to Genocide”. It was meant as a satire of ignorant American attitudes towards foreigners, but clearly a lot of people missed the joke. It was taken down from his publisher’s website after overwhelming complaints, but has now been reinstated with a large SATIRE tag, just in case. Belgium can sting me out sometimes, its bureaucrats could give Vogons a run for their money, but it’s not such a bad place. This book gave me some chuckles.
Give it a squiz:
